It does seem rediculous that the prices and cost of living continue to rise and there is no end in sight. It is unfortunate that when they raised the minimum wage amount for some reason that gave the ok to also raise the price of everything. Prices have risen over the years all on thier own and the increase of minimum wage just gave more fuel to the fire. People can't afford to live on what they make even on minimum wage. Yet while all of the prices continue to go up, the availability for help seems to go down. DHS claims that I should be able to take care of myself and my daughter on $300.00 a month with no problem, of course thier recommendation is to "live off" of family and friends if I can not make it. Yes, that is a great way to help people to become less dependant on others and the state as well as work toward getting OFF the system. So while people continue to "cheat" the system just so they can feed thier families, prices only continue to rise and not make it easier for those of us who do work and pay taxes to help the ones who don't. Its a vicious cycle and an unending battle. How are people suppose to live like this? It is rediculous and we need help in America.
