The New Slaves?
Sat, Oct 22, 2011Has anyone considered that the American people as a whole are the new slaves? Think about it for a while.
Companies are all about making a buck with as little effort as possible. Why is almost all small manufactured products priced $ 19.95 or $ 19.99. Prices are not established by a percentage of invested money as a profit. Prices are established by what the manufacturer believes his effort is worth for taking the time to make x quantity of y product, and on how much you are willing to spend on the product. Competition is your good friend here.
But things change when going global. Now every company from everywhere is out for an easy buck. Laws that gave you the right to take your problems with a company to court have been changed to protect the companies. Many other forms of protecting those that have against those that don’t have are being implemented.
In the 60′s only one member in a household needed to work to make ends meet. Now every member must work. Your minimum wage is what? while a CEO is making millions.
Is it not time to wake up? Where is the strong middle class of the past? It is rapidly disappearing. Soon there will only be a few that have too much and the many that don’t have enough or don’t have anything. And maybe companies will be governing us!
