Chad has been with the union for over 11 years and although it has its good and bad, they have always taken care of us. Unlike many Michigan families he has never been out of work long enough to reach the end of his unemployment.

Unions are a great stronghold for any working American, regardless of any bad aspect they may have. We have been able to have health insurance for our family for 11 years, although the cost have risen drastically we are still insured, thanks to the union. That is just one of the many benefits they provide.

I got into an arguement with some yuppie type about how unions are all corrupt and obsolete nowdays. I simply said to him “you’ve never lost a job for no reason have you?” I feel like alot of poor folk in the US go around with a CEO mentality, when most of us- even management are just workers and are treated as such when things go bad.
